These terms govern your use of buyaigear, the website at https://buyaigear.com and its related services such as price alerts, the API and the MCP endpoint (together, "the service"). The service is operated by PDX Options LLC, 11918 SE Division St #1059, Portland, OR 97266 ("we", "us"). By using the service you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
1. What the service is
buyaigear collects prices and availability for computer hardware from third-party vendors and public sources, and publishes estimates of how that hardware runs AI models. We are not a store. Every purchase happens on the vendor's own site under the vendor's terms. We are not a party to those transactions and have no control over a vendor's prices, stock, shipping, returns, warranty or customer service.
2. Prices, availability and estimates
Every price on the service is an observation with a timestamp. Vendors change prices and stock at any time, and the price shown on the vendor's site at the time of purchase is the one that applies. We refresh prices on a schedule and cannot promise that a price is still current when you see it.
Performance figures such as tokens per second, memory needed and whether a model fits are estimates computed from manufacturer specifications with the method described on our methodology page. They are not measurements and not guarantees. Specifications and model data may contain errors. Check anything that matters to your decision with the vendor or manufacturer before you buy.
3. Affiliate links
Links to vendors are affiliate links. When you buy through one, the vendor pays us a commission at no extra cost to you. We take part in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, the eBay Partner Network and Newegg's program through Rakuten Advertising. Commissions do not change the prices we show or the order we show them in. The details are on the affiliate disclosure page.
4. Accounts
You can use most of the service without an account. An account lets you keep a watch list and receive alerts. You sign in with a link we email you; there is no password. You are responsible for keeping access to your email address secure and for activity under your account. You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. You can delete your account at any time from your account settings or by emailing support@buyaigear.com; we then delete the data described in the privacy policy.
5. Alerts and email
When you create a watch, you ask us to email you about price changes for that product at the cadence you choose. Every alert email contains a link to change or stop alerts. Alerts depend on vendor data and email delivery, so an alert can be late, missing or based on a price that has already changed. Do not rely on alerts for time-critical decisions.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to: attack, probe or overload the service or try to get around its security or rate limits; use the service for anything unlawful; misrepresent your affiliation with us; or redistribute our data in bulk, or as a feed, without our written permission.
Automated reading of our public pages at a reasonable rate is welcome, including by AI assistants and agents. Our robots.txt, llms.txt and API documentation describe the preferred routes. Automated access that degrades the service for others is not permitted.
7. Our content and third-party content
The text, design, methodology and estimates on the service belong to us. You may quote short passages with attribution and a link. Vendor listing titles, images, prices and availability belong to the vendors and their sellers and are shown under the vendors' API terms; they may be removed or changed at any time. NVIDIA, AMD, Apple, Amazon, eBay, Newegg and other product and company names are trademarks of their owners, and their use on the service does not imply endorsement.
8. API and MCP access
Where we offer an API or an MCP endpoint, access may require a key, is subject to rate limits, and may change or be withdrawn. Data obtained through them is subject to the same terms and the same disclaimers as the website.
9. No warranty
The service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including accuracy, completeness, availability, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that prices, specifications or estimates are accurate, that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that any product is suitable for your use.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data or purchase decisions, arising from your use of the service or of any vendor site reached through it, even if we were told such damages were possible. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to one hundred US dollars (USD 100) or the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, whichever is greater. Some jurisdictions do not allow some of these limitations; in those places our liability is limited to the extent the law allows.
11. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify us against claims, losses and reasonable legal costs arising from your breach of these terms or your misuse of the service.
12. Changes and termination
We may change the service or these terms. When we change the terms we update the date at the top of this page, and for material changes we notify account holders by email. Using the service after a change means you accept the changed terms. We may suspend or end access for anyone who breaks these terms. You may stop using the service at any time.
13. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oregon, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Before starting a formal dispute, contact us at support@buyaigear.com; most issues can be settled by email. Disputes that cannot be settled informally are brought in the courts of the State of Oregon, United States, and you consent to their jurisdiction, except where the law of your place of residence gives you a right to bring a claim elsewhere.
14. General
These terms, together with the privacy policy and the affiliate disclosure, are the whole agreement between you and us about the service. If a part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in force. Our not enforcing a term is not a waiver of it. You may not assign these terms; we may assign them to a successor of the service.
